This project is aimed to investigates new scenarios enabled by digital radio broadcasting technology (DAB+, DMB). The main point of this project are:<\/span> – exploiting the possibilities of DAB technologies<\/span> – design, develop and test prototypesof new services and applications
\n– evaluate the impact of such services on in-vehicle context
\n<\/br><\/p>\n

Televideo “Lite” is a porting of the teletext of the italian public broadcaster “Rai” over DMB digital radio. The design process kept into account all the constraints related to technical limits (bandwidth, colours etc..) and usability issues. The navigation was implemented using BIFS scene descriptor and the service is currently on air over all the italian territory. Other services (infomobility, entertainment) are currently under development.Other concepts for digital radio have been developed and tested using SLS technology.<\/p>\n
